The left-sided defender received his first senior call-up in November 2024, after impressing with his performances for Newcastle United in the opening months of the 2024-25 season.
Lewis had already become an important player for the MU21s, helping the Young Lions to qualify for the 2025 UEFA U21 EURO Finals before interim head coach Lee Carsley added him to the senior squad for their games with Greece and Republic of Ireland.
He had already represented England throughout the development teams and there was only just over a year between his senior call and his first game with the men's Elite League squad in October 2023.
Born in Slough, Lewis grew up in the Berkshire village of Binfield and was signed by Chelsea at U8 level where his journey through their academy began.
In January 2022, Hall made his Chelsea debut in an Emirates FA Cup tie with Chesterfield, and became the youngest player to represent the club in that competition. He later made his Premier League debut for Chelsea in November 2022, ironically against Newcastle United who he would go on to join in the summer of 2023 to achieve a childhood dream after growing up as a Newcastle fan.
