Grassroots club: City Central
County FA: Hampshire FA
Originally hailing from Southampton, where he played grassroots football for City Central, Levi caught the eye of scouts on the south coast with his potential and duly joined Chelsea's academy at the U9 age group.
He progressed through the ranks at the London club while also featuring regularly for England at development level by collecting caps at MU16, MU17, MU19s and MU21 level over the years.
It was during a loan spell with Huddersfield Town in the 2021-22 season when he first started to earn plaudits as his spell with the Yorkshire club saw him become a firm favourite as the Terriers reached the EFL Championship play-offs with him featuring in central defence.
Having proved his worth at that level, the following campaign saw Colwill head to Brighton & Hove Albion on a season-long loan in the Premier League as he again rose to the challenge and proved an important player as the Seagulls surpassed expectations to earn themselves a European spot.
During this time, he'd become a key player in Lee Carsley's MU21s team as they qualified for the 2023 UEFA U21 EURO Finals and after being invited to join Gareth Southgate's senior squad for training and the trip to play Malta that June, he then headed out to Georgia to rejoin the Young Lions.
And he was a vital cog for Carsley's team as they went on to win the U21 EURO in fine style, before taking a well-earned break and returning to Chelsea for the 2023-24 campaign.
With Mauricio Pochettino appointed as the Blues' new manager, Colwill impressed in pre-season and began the new season in the team at Stamford Bridge.
