EURO draws for England WU17s and WU19s

The draw for the next stage of the 2025 tournaments took place on Friday 6 December

The draws for next stage of the UEFA Women’s U17 and U19 EUROs were made on Friday morning at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon.

Both the England WU17s and WU19s advanced to the next stage of qualifying for next year’s tournaments as they look to book their place in the 2025 finals.

England women’s under-17s

Natalie Henderson’s team will face Finland, Netherlands and Sweden in the next round of qualifiers – which will be hosted by Finland – for the UEFA WU17 EURO 2025.

Teams were split into two leagues, as determined by the first round of fixtures. England finished top of Group A3, which also included Czechia, the Netherlands and Faroe Islands – the hosts for next year’s tournament – after registering two wins and a draw.

As a result, the Young Lionesses were drawn into League A, from which seven teams will advance to join Faroe Islands in the finals which take place from 4 to 17 May 2025.

England women’s under-19s

Lauren Smith’s side will take on Austria, Belgium and Ukraine as the road to the UEFA WU19 EURO 2025 finals continues in the next round of qualifiers which will be hosted by England.

England placed third in Group A4 with two wins and a defeat against opponents Italy, Turkiye and Poland.

The Young Lionesses were allocated to League A – which features 28 teams, split into groups of four – as they look to join hosts Poland in the finals, taking place between 15 to 27 June 2025.
