A box-to-box midfielder with energy to burn, Jordan Nobbs has been a key member of the England squad since making her debut March 2013.
Nobbs’s career at youth level had long marked her out for senior team recognition, in particular her performances which helped the Young Lionesses win the U19 Euros in 2009.
And when the senior call came, she was ready, scoring a trademark long-ranger against Italy in the Cyprus Cup.
The Stockton native, who captained England at the U17s World Cup in 2008, has been a part of senior team squads at two European Championships and the 2015 World Cup.
She scored in the Euro 2017 defeat of Scotland and in England’s 6-0 win over Russia which kicked off the Lionesses’ 2019 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Nobbs captained Arsenal to FA WSL glory in 2019.
