20 Questions with Jordan Nobbs
Get to know England and Aston Villa midfielder Jordan Nobbs as she answers a host of questions
1) What’s your earliest memory?
I think it's being with my family and going to school really. I was outside all the time as a kid, basically and I loved school, so I had a lot of good memories from that.
2) If you could go back in time, would you? And where to?
Yeah, I would. I'd probably want to go to the seaside with my nan and grandad. That would be nice because that's something we used to do quite often.
3) What do you like most about yourself?
I'd say I'm quite caring.
4) What's your biggest achievement?
I’d say signing for Arsenal, winning trophies, and scoring on my England senior debut.
5) What’s your worst habit?
I have a very bad memory. It just goes out of my brain and it's quite annoying for me and everyone else.

6) What makes you most angry?
Losing. And I'm a little bit impatient sometimes. If people are walking really slow in London, for example, it annoys me a bit.
7) Who is your biggest influence?
My dad. He was always a great dad anyway but we've been able to enjoy football together and he was my role model growing up.
8) How do you react under pressure?
I'd say I handle it alright. You have to, to get to this level.
9) When do you do feel most at ease?
There are certain times in football where I feel at ease because it's what I love. And then going home at Christmas, relaxing, and being around friends and family.
10) What do you dream about when you sleep?
I don't really dream a lot. I used to have little nightmares when I was younger, but they've gone now.
11) Favourite phrase or word?
Probably the word "like." It sneaks into my sentences now and again.
12) What reminds you of home?
I’m never home so would be the northern accent. Whenever I hear that, it's the best sound.
13) Are you superstitious about anything?
I used to be, not anymore.
14) What makes you cry?
Some family things and certain films.
15) One song that makes me feel good?
I can't think of a song off the top of my head.
16) Biggest obstacle?
I'd maybe say I'm a bit hard on myself sometimes.

17) Favourite place in the world?
Home, or if not, then when we went to Mexico on a family holiday. We made great memories there.
18) Most valuable possession?
I have a cross necklace that my nan gave me. I don't always wear it, but it's very sentimental to me.
19) Worst fear?
The sea. I love going to the beach, but the thought of being dropped in the ocean terrifies me. I can go into where I can still stand but I won’t go in swimming.
20) How would you like to be remembered?
Just as a good human being that cared about people and was an alright footballer.
