Kobbie was just 18 years old when he received his first England senior call-up in March 2024, making the step up from the MU21s group to join Gareth Southgate's squad to take on Brazil and Belgium at Wembley.
Having represented England at MU17s, MU18s and MU19s level previously, the Manchester United midfielder had received his first MU21s call-up the week previously having broken into the first-team at Old Trafford and catching the eye with his performances in the Premier League.
Capable of playing in a defensive midfield role or in a more attack-focused position, Stockport-born Kobbie was first snapped up by United at the age of nine and came through their academy ranks before he made his first-team debut as a 17 year old in January 2023.
