Lionesses squad update: Taylor Hinds withdrawn

3pm, Tuesday 2 June 2026

Taylor Hinds has withdrawn from the England squad after sustaining an ankle injury last week. Hinds will return to Arsenal for further assessment and treatment.

The remaining 24-player squad will continue preparations at St. George’s Park to face Spain at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix on Friday 5 June, before returning to England to take on Ukraine at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday 9 June.

12pm, Monday 1 June 2026

Grace Fisk and Sophie Baggaley have been called up to the England squad to face Spain and Ukraine in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Fisk replaces Leah Williamson who followed a rehabilitation programme to be available but has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Whilst Baggaley joins as Khiara Keating will remain with Manchester City and miss the trip to Mallorca as she follows the return to play concussion protocols, with a further assessment determining her availability for the Ukraine game.

The squad arrive at St. George’s Park today in preparation to face Spain at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix on Friday 5 June, before returning to England to take on Ukraine at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday 9 June.

12pm, Monday 1 June 2026

Jessica Anderson and Lily Murphy have been called into the England WU20s squad for the upcoming World Cup preparation games against Canada and Japan. The pair replace Eva Hendle and Lauryn Thompson who have withdrawn with injury.

10am, Wednesday 27 May 2026

Khiara Keating was called up to the England squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Spain and Ukraine.

The Manchester City goalkeeper was part of last summer's EURO winning squad and made her senior debut against Brazil in October 2025.

Ellie Roebuck has withdrawn with a shoulder injury and will remain at Aston Villa for treatment.
