England women's squad updates: Greenwood withdrawn

The latest updates to the England women's senior and youth squads during the international window

TICKETS: WU23s v NETHERLANDS

11.30am, Friday 6 March 2025

Following continued assessment ahead of tomorrow's game with Iceland, Alex Greenwood has withdrawn from the England squad with a minor muscle injury and will return to her club for rehabilitation.

5pm, Tuesday 3 March 2026

Alex Greenwood misses this evening with a minor muscle injury and will continue to be assessed ahead of Saturday's fixture against Iceland.

2pm, Thursday 26 February 2026

WU23s

Jessie Gale and Eleanor Klinger have been called into the England WU23s squad for the first time, replacing Mia Enderby and Georgia Mullett who have withdrawn with injury.

Lauren Smith’s side have two fixtures in March – first playing France away on Monday 2 March (12pm GMT) in a European competition fixture, before welcoming the Netherlands to Shrewsbury Town on Friday 6 March (7pm GMT).

WU20s

Princess Ademiluyi and Lily Murphy have been called into the England WU20s squad for the fixtures against Spain, the Netherlands and Mexico on the Costa Brava. The duo replaces Gale and Klinger who have moved across to the WU23s.
