Aaron Ramsdale: My Favourite England XI
Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is the latest England international to name his ultimate England XI in our regular feature.
The Three Lions stopper names the first number one he can remember donning the gloves for the men's senior team, along with outfielders from past and present.
Here is his side in full.
Goalkeeper: Paul Robinson
Robinson was the first goalkeeper I really remember watching at tournaments. The 2006 World Cup was probably the first one I remember all the way through. That was around the time I started taking notice of goalkeepers, especially that tournament with Buffon who won it with Italy.
Ultimate Team 5-a-side
Aaron Ramsdale, Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden battle it out
Right centre-back: John Stones
This should speak for itself. I think he's the best defender in the world at the minute, with what he can do in any position on the field.
Centre-back: John Terry
Again, this was the era that I was watching England as a kid. He could play football and defend, an all-round package.
Left centre-back: Rio Ferdinand
Like with Terry, Ferdinand was around when I was growing up. He could also do a bit of everything and he can jump into midfield, too, adding to the numbers there.
Right midfield: David Beckham
Beckham is on the right. He was captain at the time and I think everybody wanted to take free-kicks like him. The closest I've ever seen is Prowsey [James Ward-Prowse]. He's in as captain.
Centre midfield: Frank Lampard
We're going to be a very attacking side and I want Lampard as the first of my midfielders who can do what they want in the middle of the pitch. His goal record speaks for itself, an incredible player.
Centre midfield: Steven Gerrard
Obviously you can have your debate about who was better of Gerrard and Lampard but I'm having them both in. We were just missing that trophy with England at that time but what they both did for club and country was exceptional.
Centre midfield: Jack Wilshere
It was really unlucky what happened to Jack with his injuries. I loved watching him play. I had the pleasure of being his teammate at Bournemouth and he's been at Arsenal in recent years as a coach. He gives me a bit of balance with his left foot, he can take people on, so he's in there.
Left midfield: Bukayo Saka
He's going to hate me for putting him on the left but I want Bukayo in my team. I want it made clear he is wearing number three as well, he'll hate that even more. But what he brings is crazy. I get to see it every day – and I'm obviously being a little biased – but he is unreal. Even in his short England career he has had a big impact on key games. It's only the start for him.
Striker: Wayne Rooney
Incredible. I've picked a lot of players from that generation when I was growing up in 2006 and he was in his pomp. He has to be in my side.
Striker: Peter Crouch
Crouch was a great footballer but I also want him in because of the type of person he is, he's a legend. Becks whipping it in, Crouch knocking it down, Wazza tapping them in. I think he was a bit disrespected because he was better than what people give him credit for.
Honourable mentions
Harry Kane has to be an honourable mention, I can't believe I haven't got the skipper in. Ashley Cole as well, it's crazy I've left him out, but I went for Starboy. Jude Bellingham has the potential to be the best player in the world at some point in his career. And then three goalkeepers, David Seaman, Joe Hart and Jordan Pickford. I see Pickers up close and what he does in an England shirt is different class. Every time I think I might have a sniff he pulls out these saves and that's why he's England's number one.
