Harry Kane's Favourite England XI

Reece James is the latest England international to take on our regular feature, My Favourite XI.

The full-back picks out his ultimate Three Lions side, featuring several players he grew up idolising as well as players he has played alongside.

Here is his team in full.

Formation: 4-3-3

Goalkeeper: Aaron Ramsdale

I played with Aaron in the Under-18s and the Under-19s. I've known him since we were young and it's great that he's had a good Arsenal career as well.

Right-back: Kyle Walker

His all-round quality as a player and person is at an elite level. He's been at the top for a number of years and he's a great professional.

Centre-back: John Terry

John was England and Chelsea captain and a number of kids looked up to him, including me. He was the captain of my boyhood club so he was always a hero. From what I've heard he was a great guy who always wanted to help when he could.

Centre-back: Fikayo Tomori

He was never the starboy of the group and his time at Chelsea didn't go as well as he wanted in the first team but now he's at AC Milan, performing every week. He's showing how good he is.

Left back: Ashley Cole

He's one of the best to ever play the game and played for Chelsea as well. He's someone I looked up to.

Centre midfield: Paul Scholes

The way he played and how good he was on the ball was incredible.

Another one with all-round quality. You always felt like Liverpool or England were in the game with him in the team.

Centre midfield: Frank Lampard

Lampard was a class act with the ball but also had the goalscoring pedigree. He was a star for Chelsea as I grew up and an amazing player. He'd be my captain, too, because he was great to play under when he was my manager. He understood how players think because he was recently a player so his man-management was good.

Right wing: David Beckham

Everyone looked up to him. He was playing for Manchester United when they won the league every year and his quality on the ball speaks for itself. He's turned into a role model too.

Striker: Wayne Rooney

Rooney was a fantastic footballer. He broke many records for United and England, he was the top goalscorer for his country and still is for his club. I never played with him unfortunately.

I hate playing against him, he's a nightmare for a defender. I've got a lot closer to him since he joined Chelsea. He's a great person and a great leader, he wants to win.

Honourable mentions

I'd say Gary Cahill. He played for England for years, played for Chelsea and won many trophies.

Harry Kane would be another one. He has incredible quality, an incredible goals record and he is so consistent.
