The young goalkeeper received her first call-up to the England senior group in April 2024, when she replaced the injured Khiara Keating in the squad to face Sweden and Republic of Ireland.
A regular for the WU23s squad, Kayla's performances for Southampton put her on Sarina Wiegman's radar and having previously represented England through the development teams from WU16s to WU23 level.
Growing up in Dorset, Kayla played for grassroots team Merley Cobham Girls in Poole from the age of six before she joined Southampton's RTC at the age of 15 before eventually working her way to become the club's number one.
