The Salford-born goalkeeper represents Manchester United at club level, but has spent time learning her trade out on loan with the likes of Sheffield United, Birmingham City and Everton, where she caught the eye of Sarina Wiegman and was called up to the senior squad for the Arnold Clark Cup games in February 2023.

She'd previously been involved with the senior squad during a training camp in the summer of 2021 and had also been a regular in Mo Marley's WU23s squad during the 2022-23 campaign.

After picking up caps for the WU17s and WU19s development teams, Emily was a part of the WU20s squad who picked up a bronze medal at the FIFA WU20 World Cup in France in 2018 and she then went on to get two WU21 caps in March 2020 in the Young Lionesses' double-header with France.
