An eye-catching 2023-24 season saw Jarell become a regular in the heart of Liverpool's defence in the Premier League, which coupled with his displays for England MU21s, saw him named in Gareth Southgate's training squad ahead of the UEFA EURO 2024 championship.
Born in Warrington, Jarell was signed by Liverpool at the age of five and came through the academy ranks at Anfield as well as representing the Young Lions through the age groups with caps at MU16s, MU17s, MU18s, MU19s, MU20s and MU21s.
He was a key part of the MU19s squad who won the UEFA U19 EURO title in 2022- in Slovakia, being named in the team of the tournament as Ian Foster's team beat Italy in the final.
A tall and powerful central defender with strong ability on the ball, he spent time on loan with Bristol Rovers in EFL League One in January 2023 before returning to Liverpool and making his senior team debut at the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
