Lauren Smith has selected a 21-strong England women's under-19s squad for round one of qualifying for the 2026 UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship.
The Young Lionesses will begin their 2025-26 campaign with three crucial EURO qualifiers in Estonia, opening against the hosts before facing Greece and finishing the round against Austria.
England are competing for one of seven remaining places at next summer’s tournament, which will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina in July. A top three finish in their group will see them advance to the second round of qualification.
Lauren Smith said: “I’m really excited for the season to get underway. It’s important we hit the ground running from the first day of camp as the games come thick and fast during a qualifying round. We have three challenging fixtures ahead us, so we’ll have to make sure we’re ready to give it our all to progress to the next round. Playing in these types of fixtures, with that extra level of pressure, is such an invaluable experience for our Young Lionesses and their development in the pathway.”
