PLAYER PROFILE: GEORGIA STANWAY

As England continue their UEFA Women's EURO 2025 campaign in Switzerland, we get to know Georgia Stanway a bit better through our X or Y quiz.

The Lionesses and Bayern Munich star is next up in the series, following on from her squad mates Leah Williamson, Grace Clinton and Keira Walsh.

See what she had to say below.

Plane or train? Plane. I don't massively like flying but I've had to get used to it in the last few years.

Fashion or comfort? Comfort, but I think you can do both at once. A nice tracksuit!

TV show or film? Films. I love rom-coms, even if it's a lesser-known one that's on Netflix, I'll be fully engrossed in it. It's mostly when I'm travelling, rather than on-camp.

Single room or shared? I'd have to say single room. My former roommate was Leah Williamson for many years and that was very good, but you get used to your own space. I share when I'm with my club so it's nice when I come away with England because you have the option to go out and meet and mix with people, or you can just close the door.

Late nights or early mornings? Late nights, I'm hopeless in the morning.

Gym or outside running and sport? I'd actually say running, unless there's a football involved, that's my motivation.

Sauna or ice bath? Good question, I'd probably say ice bath as I feel like that benefits me more and cools my muscles down and gets the system going, whereas a sauna you get too hot and that stresses me out.

Matchday or rest day? Match day, for sure. It's also nice when it's an evening game because it then also feels like a bit of a rest day too. You can have a chilled morning, have a walk then a nap and by then, you're ready to go.

After a win, party or chill? Chill! My legs don't work on a dancefloor after a game!
