England will play Jamaica in Leicester for their final fixture before heading to UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 in Switzerland.
The first-ever meeting between the Lionesses and the Reggae Girlz will take place at the home of Leicester City at 5pm on Sunday 29 June, broadcast live on ITV Sport.
Jamaica made headlines after their impressive performance at the 2023 FIFA World Cup after progressing to the knockout stage for the first time in their history, having eliminated Brazil in the group stage.
The fixture will form part of the Lionesses’ pre-tournament preparation, falling a week before the 2022 EURO champions’ opening game of the finals in Switzerland. It will be the second time the team have played at the East Midlands venue, after a sold-out fixture against Belgium during the 2023 UEFA Nations League campaign ended in a 1-0 victory to the home side.

Sarina Wiegman said: “I am really pleased to be able to play a good game to finalise our EUROs preparations on English soil. Jamaica will be a difficult test, they’re a nation we haven’t faced before and a real opportunity for us to keep learning and growing as a team. They are building as a team themselves and have been doing really well, especially at the last World Cup. It will be a special occasion and atmosphere in a great stadium which we have performed well at in the past.
“We will do our best to put on a good performance and make it a memorable send-off moment for both the team and the fans. There will only be one week until our opening match against France in Zurich so this is an important milestone in our preparation.
“We have faced some really tough opposition recently and have learnt so much as a team. We still need to focus on the remaining fixtures in the Nations League with our final home game to Portugal at Wembley followed by a trip to Barcelona to face Spain. These will be challenging fixtures and we will continue the hard work and preparation right through until the competition starts.”
Tickets will go on sale to My England Football members on Tuesday 22 April and on general sale from Thursday 24 April. Tickets are available here.
England were drawn in Group D for the EURO in Switzerland, with their opening match in Zurich against France on Saturday 5 July, followed by a clash against the Netherlands on Wednesday 9 July in the same venue and finishing the group stage with a meeting against Wales on Sunday 13 July in St. Gallen.
The Lionesses will next be in action against Portugal at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Friday 30 May, KO 7.45pm with tickets still available to buy here. The conclusion of the competition takes place away to Spain in Barcelona on Tuesday 3 June.
The send-off and Nations League fixtures will be broadcast live across ITV Sport.
