Finland away ticket holder information

Written by:

FA Staff

All the information you need if you are attending our UEFA Nations League fixture away to Finland in Helsinki

England head to Helsinki to take on Finland in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday 13 October at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.

Tickets can be collected at the following days and locations:

Collection Dates and Times

LocationHilton Helsinki Strand

Saturday 12 October: 12pm to 6.30pm
Sunday 13 October: 10am to 6pm

Tickets for this match, as with all away matches, will be for individual collection only.

There will be visible Wembley stewards available to direct supporters across the three days.

Please note we will not have the ability to re-print or re-issue tickets.

In line with ESTC membership rules, should your ticket be passed on or attempted to be used multiple times, at least the original ticket holder will be banned, pending appeal.

What you need when to collect your tickets

You will need a form of Photo ID to collect your ticket.

Acceptable forms of Photo ID to collect your ticket from The FA staff are:

- A valid Passport or Driving License
- An old ESTC Membership Card
- Your digital membership card

If you are part of a group, each member must collect their ticket in person. Please be aware that all members of the group do not have to collect at the same time, however it will not be possible for a member (or non-member) to collect a ticket on another member’s behalf. We would advise collecting your tickets on MD-1, as we anticipate longer queues at our Ticket Collection Point on matchday.

To improve time-efficiency when collecting tickets, we would also suggest arriving as a group if you booked your tickets together. If you are unable to collect with the rest of your group, you will be required to inform us of the name of the person who booked your ticket (Lead Booker), alongside having your own ID.

Digital Membership Cards

Ticket holders for this match will be part of the initial launch of the digital membership cards.

Supporters who are attending this fixture will receive a link to download and log into their digital membership card for either Apple or Android.

The app will only be visible by invite and only Finland Away ticket holders will be able to access the app at this time.

All other members will be updated on their digital membership cards after this set of international fixtures.

Wi-Fi details for the Ticket Collection Point will be sent to all ticket holders on Friday.

Flag Information

Flags are welcome if they are no bigger than 2m by 1m.  If your flag is larger than this please ensure you have your fire certificate to hand at the turnstiles.

Waiting list

You can join the waiting list here.

If you are already on the waiting list, or once you have joined, you will receive an email from ESTC@thefa.com if you have been successful.

This email could also arrive on match day, as we often receive cancellations right up until kick-off.

The staff at the Ticket Collection Point will be working through any cancelled tickets that come in and redistributing them to members on the waiting list on a cap's basis.

So, if you know someone who isn't coming, remind them to let FA Staff know by completing the Ticket Cancellation form below so another member can go in their place.  We often have many of uncollected tickets that we are unable to pass on.

Ticket Cancellation

If you can no longer attend the match, please complete the Ticket Cancellation Form.

FSA Fans' Embassy and Free Lions Guide

The Fans’ Embassy will be based near the Helsinki Cathedral in Senate Square.

Their team will be handing out hard copies of the Free Lions Guide, which will also be available at the Ticket Collection Point.

You can also access the digital copy here.

FA Security Reminder

In recent times, we have seen a rise in pyrotechnics, flares and smoke devices being brought to stadiums around the country and abroad. It is important to highlight that these items are not only illegal inside a football stadium, but these prohibited items can also cause great harm to people. These pyrotechnics and flares can burn at up to 2,000°C and can cause significant injuries to carriers and fellow spectators. We have also seen several incidents that have resulted in people experiencing breathing difficulties, distress, and discomfort. The potential injuries sustained as a result of someone using a pyrotechnic include:

- Serious injuries, such as loss of limb or fingers
- Severe burns, due to temperatures of up to 2,000°C
- Breathing problems, due to smoke inhalation
- Loss of hearing or sight, because of the explosive power

Anyone reported in possession of a pyro in or outside of the stadium will run the risk of their ESTC Membership being suspended in addition to the regulations and consequences set by the police.

How to Report an Incident to us whilst you are abroad

The FA continues to work hard to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all supporters.

If you witness any xenophobic, racist, homophobic or anti-social behaviour before, during or after the match, you can report it in confidence by emailing ESTC@TheFA.com or by calling or texting us on (+44)7790371105.

Please be aware that The FA will always investigate reports of inappropriate behaviour at an England game.

For more information regarding fan behaviour, please refer to the ‘Rules of Membership’

As always, when travelling abroad, we ask that members treat the cities and locals with respect. Any unacceptable behaviour whilst following England may result in:

- Removal from the stadium
- Police involvement and possible criminal proceeding
- Football Banning Order applications in England
- Suspension from the ESTC membership
- Withdrawal of future match tickets

We will not tolerate any excessive behaviour and will be working with all the relevant stakeholders to ensure every fan has a safe trip. Any member who does not follow the ESTC membership rules outlined will run the risk of losing their membership privileges and tickets for future fixtures, including the UEFA EUROs.

Remember, members should act as ambassadors for the England team and act in such a way that will continue to enhance the image of English supporters and the national side.

We hope you enjoy the game and have a safe journey!
