England women learn UEFA EURO 2025 draw
The Lionesses found out who they will face in the first stage of next year's tournament
England women’s senior team will face France, Wales and the Netherlands in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 group stage.
Head coach Sarina Wiegman – who led the Lionesses to victory in the last edition of the tournament in 2022 – was in attendance at the Swiss Tech Convention Centre in Lausanne.
Wiegman’s side sealed their spot at the Finals earlier this year, and they now head to Switzerland to defend their title between 2 and 27 July 2025.
The 16 contenders were divided into groups of four teams, Groups A to D, with each group containing one team each from one of four seeding pots for the first stage of the tournament.
The pots were seeded in accordance with the overall Women's European Qualifiers league stage rankings, although Switzerland were placed in position A1 for scheduling purposes as the host nation.

Group A: Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Finland
Group B: Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Italy
