England learn U21 EURO Finals draw
The Young Lions will defend their title in Slovakia next summer and the draw for the Finals was made on Tuesday

England will play Germany, Czechia and Slovenia in Group B at next summer’s UEFA U21 EURO Finals, after the draw took place in Slovakia on Tuesday evening.
Young Lions head coach Lee Carsley was present at the Slovak Philharmonic Reduta Building in Bratislava for the draw as he prepares to take his squad there to defend their title between 11 and 28 June 2025.
There are 16 nations involved in the competition, who have come through qualifying groups to join the host nation, who qualified automatically.
The teams were divided into four pots according to their position in the UEFA Under-21 National Team Coefficient Ranking and the teams then split into four groups of four, with the top two in each group going through to the knockout phase.
The draw is as follows:-
Group A: Slovakia (hosts), Spain, Italy, Romania
Group B: Czechia, England (holders), Germany, Slovenia
Group C: Portugal, France, Poland, Georgia
Group D: Netherlands, Finland, Ukraine, Denmark
The full match schedule, including the kick-off time and venues for all matches, will be released by UEFA in due course.
There will be eight venues hosting games at the 2025 U21 EURO Finals, with more details below.
