Report: England WU23s 0-2 Norway
Two first-half goals saw Young Lionesses on the losing side at St. George's Park
England Women’s under-23s slipped to defeat against Norway at St. George’s Park on Thursday afternoon.
In a return fixture of last month’s match in Moss when Mo Marley’s side ran out as 2-1 winners, it was two quickfire first-half goals from the visitors which secured victory.
They took the lead after 14 minutes of the game, when Emma Good slotted home at the far post following a cross from the left.
And Norway doubled their advantage four minutes later when Olaug Tvedten did well to fashion some space before curling a shot from just outside the area to give Emily Ramsey no chance.

Opportunities were slim after the break, and despite a better performance from England they just couldn’t find a breakthrough.
