Keira Walsh became the latest Lioness centurion, achieving her 100th cap when she captained England to a 1-0 victory in their 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifier against Spain on Tuesday 14 April 2026.
The central midfielder is the 15th woman to reach 100 England caps, and the second in the current side, after Lucy Bronze, who is in third place with 147 appearances and counting.
Fara Williams holds the current record of appearances for the England women's senior national team, after amassing 172 caps for the Lionesses during her career, with 14 players reaching 100 caps or more.
The midfielder represented England across 18 years, after making her debut against Portugal in November 2001 when she was just 17 years old.
She went on to feature in three World Cups (2007, 2011 and 2015) and four EURO Finals (2005, 2009, 2013 and 2017), as she became a key player under the stewardship of both Hope Powell and Mark Sampson.
She is eleven caps clear of second-placed Jill Scott, who partnered Williams in midfield for much of her international career before she bowed out following England's UEFA EURO title winning success in 2022.
And another player who was a part of their era with the team sits in fourth spot, with Karen Carney having won 144 caps in her career.
